Agreed. And for the life of me I can't figure out why there isn't an entire series that consists of turbine powered cars with airbrakes. Hell, I bought the horrid "Indianapolis 500 Evolution" just to drive it.

One of my friends had a great idea. Anti Oppo, but great. Creat a 100 mile race before the 500 for autonomous cars. It would be pretty funny to begin with, but after a few years they would probably be getting around as fast as the 500 cars. Start building in logic for overtaking, fuel strategy and see where it goes.
